How Does Mobile Speech Therapy Work?
Our mobile speech therapy service works similar to our in-clinic sessions except that we come to you. We demonstrate the same level of professionalism and care that we show to clients who visit us in the centre.
Firstly, you’ll need to contact Tweed Coast Speech Pathology to make an appointment at a time that suits you. If you’re not sure whether speech therapy will be beneficial for your child, Andrea is happy to discuss with you beforehand. You will also need to check with your school or daycare centre to ensure that they are accommodating to a therapist on site.
A full diagnostic assessment will be performed during the first visit to determine your child’s communication difficulties and to create a therapy plan that will support their needs and goals.
Treatment may consist of a variety of strategies, techniques and activities to be practiced in school and at home with the full support of parents, teachers and educators.
Please note that a small travel fee applies to mobile visits.

Each young patient that comes to see us will receive a thorough assessment of their condition by our speech pathologist, Andrea Miles.
